Easy Chocolate Banana Cream Pie

This recipe could not be easier! Now, you can make the pie crust, pudding and whipped cream from scratch, but for the most simple version of this dessert, you can buy a frozen pie, a box of pudding mix and a can of whipped cream for a creamy, chocolatey dessert with fresh banana and a flaky crust in no time!


You really only need a few ingredients to make this pie. It is impossible easy to throw together... and very kid friendly.


The pie comes together in minutes... just bake the crust, slice some banana and pour in your pudding. Then, just pop it in the fridge, top with some whipped cream and serve! I baked a smaller 6" pie crust for a little bit more of a deep dish pie, but a store bought frozen crust works great too!


Easy Chocolate Banana Cream Pie

Ingredients
  • 9" pie crust (frozen or homemade), baked
  • 1-2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 (3.9oz) box chocolate pudding, prepared to package directions
  • 1 (3.4oz) box banana cream pudding, prepared to package directions
  • whipped cream or thawed whipped topping

Directions

Place banana slices on the bottom of your baked pie shell. Mix together prepared puddings and pour on top of bananas (or layer chocolate pudding on top of banana pudding.) Place in the refrigerator for a few hours. When ready to serve, top with whipped cream and banana slices.
