Give this years graduates something sweet for their sweet accomplishment. These cute little teddy bears are made completely out of marshmallows with gumdrop hats and licorice accents so they are 100% edible! They are simple to make and are just adorable!
My Hand Engraved Chocolate Bar Chalkboards are one of my favorite treats for graduations, teachers appreciation and back to school! I have used my DIY engraved chocolate bars for many other holidays and occasions (scroll down for photos), but the idea originated when I created a cookie version of these chalkboards last year. I loved my original DIY chocolate bar engraving technique so much that I just had to re-create them in "no-bake" version for a quick, simple, equally delish alternative! So here you are, my chocolate caramel chalkboards.
These little chalkboards are such a cute and sweet way of saying "thank you" to that special teacher and showing your appreciation. You can even use them as a graduation gift or back to school classroom treat for kids and teachers alike. Kids will love engraving their own text or drawings right on the chocolate for a personal touch. They require no baking or preparation so you can make them in no time at all for an adorably impressive customizable gift.
"Bake your brownie and eat it too" by indulging in moderation with my small batch dessert recipes! Late night chocolate cravings are bound to sneak up on you, but instead of making a whole pan of brownies, why not indulge in a single serving, moist chocolate fudge brownie that's ready in only 3 minutes! This recipe uses everyday household ingredients to whip up an individual brownie baked in the microwave in a few minutes. It is a perfect recipe for those late night chocolate cravings! The best part is that the preparation is almost as easy as the cleanup so you can throw it together, enjoy and clean up within minutes ;)

PhotoFrost icing sheets/edible paper is the coolest new cake decorating technique ever. Sheets of edible paper made out of frosting that you can do just about anything with! Simply peel the edible paper off of the backing and cut into any shape, border or decoration you choose. Even add their pre-printed butterflies, printed with FDA approved edible ink, shown in the cake above for a realistic looking touch. My favorite part is their rose template. They make it so easy to make beautiful roses from their red icing sheets with the spiral template design. Add some green icing sheet leaves and you have a gorgeous and professional looking cake, that was just as fun to eat as it was to make!
Check out their video on making the roses:
The best part is you don't need any experience in cake decorating and no messy frosting bags, just follow the directions in their DVD included and you can decorate all of your special occasion treats like a pro, to really impress your friends and family!

Since Mother's Day is coming up, I thought I would post one of my mom's top cupcake picks. These are probably one of my mom's most top requested cupcakes... and that's ok with me because these cupcakes are one of my personal favorites too! I love the combination of chocolate and coffee, and these mocha fudge cupcakes really take it to the next level. They are insanely rich and chocolatey, a perfect treat to enjoy with a hot cup of coffee or a tall glass of milk. I created a recipe that uses cocoa powder (I recommend using a good quality cocoa like Valrhona or Callebaut) for the cupcakes, and frosting instead of melted chocolate. Mainly because I have it on hand more often than chocolate chips/bars (probably because I end up eating any chocolate laying around) and for simplicity's sake. These one bowl cupcakes are probably one of the easiest recipes ever, yet one of the most mind-blowingly delicious! Give them a try and you might have a new favorite in your family too. ;)
These cupcakes are rich, moist and fudgy, topped with a light creamy
chocolate espresso frosting, a drizzle of simple chocolate glaze and
finished with a tiny swirl of sweet vanilla espresso buttercream and a
chocolate covered espresso bean, pure decadence.
This fun and easy git idea is perfect for Mother's/Father's Day, Teachers Appreciation, or to celebrate someone you love. You can even just attach the tag to a plain old bag of M&M candies and skip the little containers for an even simpler yet cute gift idea, party treat or lunch box surprise!
