These little confections are a variation on my homemade peppermint patties and taste just like the real thing! They have a smooth cream filling and are coated in a rich dark chocolate. I made orange cream with orange extract and orange food coloring making them perfect for spring! They are the perfect 3 bite candy, great for parties, dessert tables or gifts. You can get creative and use any shaped cookie cutter you like to fit the season or party and create any flavor filling with extracts and food colorings paired with any type of chocolate you like!

Homemade Cadbury Creme Eggs

I wait all year for the grocery stores to stock the shelves with Easter candy so I can get my hands on these sickeningly sweet creme filled chocolate eggs. They pretty much taste like pure sugar coated in chocolate but I looove them and could seriously eat a half dozen in one sitting... which is why it is probably a good thing they only sell Cadbury creme eggs one season a year.
I looked up the ingredients of a Cadbury Creme Egg and just as I suspected it is pretty much just sugar and chocolate. Since the ingredients were so basic, I knew it couldn't be that hard to create a homemade version to make any time of the year. So, here is a homemade Cadbury creme egg recipe you can make any time a craving hits... even when it is not Easter!

I created these adorable marshmallow Easter bunnies last year and loved them so much I had to make them again to share with you this year in a variety of pastel colors! They are pretty simple to assemble using just marshmallows, sprinkles and some white chocolate "glue". They make a perfect Easter treat, party favor or place setting that is sure to impress kids and adults alike.

St. Patty's Day Green Velvet Cupcakes Topped With Handmade Gumdrop Shamrocks {Small Batch: Yield 8}

These cupcakes are based off of my red velvet cupcakes. They have a slight hint of cocoa and a deep green hue that make them a perfect vessel for a light fluffy pillow of cream cheese frosting. I topped them with simple handmade shamrocks made of jelly gumdrop candies, creating adorable festive cupcakes perfect for St. Patrick's Day.
