Valentine's Day is coming up and because I <3 french toast so much, I just had to make them into a heart shape, which would be a perfect treat for Valentine's Day morning, Mother's Day breakfast in bed, or an Anniversary brunch!
Start with your favorite french toast recipe. Here is a link to my perfect french toast.
Cut out bread slices with a large cookie cutter for fun shaped french toast.
Dip bread slices into egg mixture one at a time, coating on all sides. Drain excess back into bowl. Place bread in buttered skillet, sprinkling extra cinnamon on top if desired.
Cook 2-3 minutes over medium heat, on each side, or until lightly browned. Repeat for remaining bread slices.
Top with powdered sugar and maple syrup, or fresh fruit.
Even add some fun confetti heart sprinkles, Enjoy!
